Alonzo Mourning anchored the Miami Heat during their rise to Eastern Conference contention in the late 1990s, averaging 21.3 points, 9.9 rebounds, and an NBA-leading 3.9 blocks per game during the 1996-97 season. "Zo" won two Defensive Player of the Year awards and eventually captured a championship ring with Miami in 2006, becoming one of the most beloved players in Heat history.
