After early struggles and a few injury issues the Chicago Blackhawks have been on fire, winning their last six games. Huge contributions from their all four lines have the Hawks flying high. There are a few reasons for that, a couple new offensive players added to the team and a very slow start for Patrick Kane caused a few hiccups at the beginning of the season but things have changed and the team has fully jelled and with Patrick Sharp coming back adds more firepower to an already hot lineup. Patrick Kane started the season with one of the slowest starts to his career and left many fans scratching their heads. Well big time players make big time plays and Kane seems to have found his form. Kane is up to having 16 points in his last 11 games which gives him the average of getting a point per game this season. The stars playing like stars is one reason why the Hawks are streaking. Another big reason is the second line’s play as of late. With Kane leading the way and veterans Kris Versteeg and Mike Richards playing well provides a huge lift. Versteeg is finally healthy and playing the way he did leading to the 2010 Stanley Cup and Mike Richards is playing up to his career standards. All three guys have great vision and are having fun playing alongside each other. There has also been very good goalie play from Crawford before getting hurt and Raanta and Darling the past couple of games which plays a factor and the defense being a force is another big reason. But with 40 goals in the last 10 games the offense is the biggest reason why the Hawks are streaking.
